French BEV sales continue to increase in May
French sales of new battery electric cars increased 48.7% on-year in May, according to data published by carmakers’ association Filiere Automobile et Mobilité (PFA).
A total of 22,667 BEVs were registered last month, compared to 15,246 new registrations in May 2022 and 17,112 units sold in April 2023. In the five months of the year, BEV registrations rose to 104,638 units and a market share of 15%.
