French EV charging infrastructure deployment confirms momentum
France’s public EV charging infrastructure grew by over 3,000 new chargers in August, Kallanish learns from the domestic e-mobility association Avere-France.
The data shows that the public charging network jumped by 55.4% on-year in January-August to 107,937 units. This means an average of 160 charging points per 100,000 citizens. As of 31 August 2022, France had 69,428 chargers in operation.
