FREYR Battery green lights first gigafactory in Norway

FREYR Battery has taken a final investment decision on its first battery cell gigafactory and given the construction go-ahead for a customer qualification plant (CQP) in Norway. The company, which recently listed on the Nasdaq, is targeting commissioning its battery cell plant in Mo i Rana, Norway, in H2 2022.
