FREYR Battery shareholders greenlight US move
Norwegian start-up FREYR Battery has received shareholder approval to redomicile in the US, transitioning from Luxembourg to Delaware, Kallanish reports.
The process is expected to be completed by the end of 2023, the company said Monday. By becoming a US company, it will be better positioned to respond to federal and state incentives for battery manufacturing, particularly considering recent changes to some Inflation Reduction Act-linked tax credits.
