FREYR reserves separator capacity from Chinese supplier
Norwegian battery start-up FREYR announced Wednesday a reservation agreement for battery raw materials supply with Changzhou Senior New Energy Materials and Senior Material (Europe) AB.
The undisclosed deal covers capacity reservations of separator materials starting in 2023 through 2028 in line with FREYR’s estimated demand. After that, the battery manufacturer can exercise a capacity option that would extend the agreement until 2031.
