Ganfeng to invest $1.3 billion in 2 new battery plants in China
Chinese lithium giant Ganfeng Lithium will invest RMB 8.4 billion ($1.3 billion) in two battery manufacturing plants in China, Kallanish learns from an exchange filing on Thursday.
The investment by its subsidiary Ganfeng LiEnergy is divided into two projects to produce a “new-type” of batteries, with a combined capacity of 15 gigawatt-hours per year.
