Gazprom ventures into Russian lithium production
Russian gas giant Gazprom’s head Alexey Miller and Russian industry minister Denis Manturov have signed a cooperation agreement for lithium production project at Kovyktinskoye field, Kallanish notes.
The implementation of the project for the production and processing of formation brines (saline groundwaters) is in order to obtain lithium compounds and other valuable components.
