German steel trust plan battery recycling facility in Saarland
German foundation Montan-Stiftung-Saar and recycling specialist Roth International have signed a letter of intent to establish a technology partnership in the field of battery recycling. The aim of the cooperation is to establish a sustainable raw material supply chain in the region.
Montan-Stiftung-Saar is the owner of steelmaking holding group SHS - Stahl-Holding-Saar, and thus indirectly the owner of Saarstahl, and the majority shareholder of Dillinger.
