Germany’s electrified vehicle sales take 28.7% market share in June
Sales of electrified vehicles accounted for 28.7% of the German new passenger car market in June, data from the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) showed on 7 July.
The share breaks down as 14.4% of all-electric (BEV), 11.7% plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and 2.6% hybrid (HEV) vehicles. There were also 55 new registrations of fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) – an increase of 48.6% year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
