GLC Recycle, XTC sign three-year lithium carbonate supply deal
Singapore-based battery recycler GLC Recycle Pte has signed a lithium carbonate supply agreement with Shanghai-listed cathode provider XTC New Energy Material Xiamen (XTC) over a three-year period.
According to GLC Recycle’s announcement, the crude lithium carbonate that XTC is going to purchase is to be produced from recycled used batteries by GLC in the next three years. The deal covers a total supply of at least 10,000 tonnes, Kallanish learns.
