Global EV sales to leap to 6m units in 2021: Wood Mackenzie
Global sales of electric vehicles are set to surge in 2021 to over 6 million units, on the back of accelerated growth in the second half of the year, according to Wood Mackenzie.
The consulting firm owned by Verisk estimates that H2 2021 sales will outperform the 2.4m EV sales in H1. China and Europe may each exceed 2.5m EV sales this year, with the two regions clearly at the vanguard of transport decarbonisation, Kallanish reports.
