Gotion, Chery strengthen battery supply partnership
Chinese leading power battery firm Gotion High-tech has secured a strategic cooperation agreement with carmaker Chery, becoming its type A battery cell supplier, Kallanish reports.
The agreement was signed on 7 January through Gotion’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Hefei, Anhui Province. The companies plan to jointly expand business in passenger car and commercial car markets, and collaborate in new business areas such as energy storage and electric ship. …
