GRAPHITE: POSCO takes 15% stake in Black Rock Mining
South Korean steel producer POSCO is to acquire a 15% interest in Tanzanian graphite developer Black Rock Mining, Kallanish reports.
POSCO, one of the largest steel manufacturers globally, has agreed to an investment of $7.5 million after Black Rock issued a total of 126,020,001 shares at an issue price of AUD 0.082 ($0.062) per share. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and expected to finalise in mid-January 2021.
