GRAPHITE: Westwater Resources gets air permit for Alabama processing plant
Westwater Resources can proceed with vertical construction of a $202 million graphite processing plant in Alabama, Kallanish reports.
That is possible after Alabama regulators approved a key air permit for the project in Kellyton in east-central Alabama.
The plant, being built by subsidiary Alabama Graphite Products, is expected to begin commercial operations by the end of the second quarter 2023.
