Group14 Technologies closes battery material production funding
Seattle-based battery materials start-up Group14 Technologies has closed a $17 million Series B funding round, Kallanish reports.
The investment round was led by South Korean gas manufacturer SK Materials and included historic investor, OVP Venture Partners. Group14 states that the investment will be used to scale up its production of silicon-carbon composite anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
