Haldor Topsoe to build SOEC electrolyser plant
Denmark’s Haldor Topsoe plans to build a plant to manufacture its proprietary solid oxide electrolysers (SOEC) for industrial customers from 2023.
The facility will be the “largest of its kind” to produce large-scale electrolysers with a total capacity of 500 megawatst per year. This could later be expanded to 5,000 MW/year, Kallanish reports. Construction will start next year, with start-up slated for 2023.
