Honda, Hanwa enter battery materials partnership
Honda said Tuesday it has entered into a strategic partnership with Japanese trading company Hanwa to secure the supply of battery materials, Kallanish reports.
Under the collaboration, Hanwa will provide “stable procurement in the medium and long term” of battery raw materials such as nickel, cobalt and lithium. The carmaker didn’t disclose details on volumes and timeframes.
