Honda profits tumble due to semiconductors, Covid-19
Supply shortages, Covid-19, and raw material prices bit into Japanese automaker Honda’s profits on-year in the fiscal 2022 second quarter, Kallanish reports.
The company earned $1.46 billion attributable to the parent in the quarter ended 30 September on sales of $29.91 billion, down 30.8% and 6.8%, respectively, from fiscal Q2 2021.
