House Republicans push back on EPA’s EV regulations
The US House of Representatives approved on Wednesday a bill that would block the Biden administration’s vehicle emissions regulations from moving forward.
The proposed regulations, introduced by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in April, require up to two-thirds of new vehicles sold in the US to be electric by 2032. Per the AP this would be a nearly tenfold increase over current EV sales.
