Huawei, BAIC's first BEV model listed by China's MIIT
Chinese automaker BAIC and technology firm Huawei’s first collaborative battery electric model S9 has been listed on China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalogue of qualified models, Kallanish learns.
The listing is part of China’s regulatory process to enable a model to be sold in the country. It also allows sales for public feedback for a certain period of time.
