Hyundai aims to become top 3 EV manufacturer
Hyundai Motor Group this week announced its goal to become one of the top three electric vehicle manufacturers worldwide by 2030 through the combined sales of Hyundai Motor, Kia and Genesis.
The group expects to boost its annual EV production to 1.51 million units domestically, and 3.64m units globally, by 2030, Kallanish notes. In 2030, Hyundai Motor is likely to have a total line-up of 31 EV models, including those from subsidiaries.
