Ineos agrees to design contract for blue hydrogen hub in Scotland
British chemical manufacturer Ineos has chosen Atkins to deliver the design of a planned world-scale low-carbon hydrogen plant at its Grangemouth site, in Scotland, Kallanish reports.
Fundamental to the blue hydrogen project is access to Scottish Cluster’s carbon capture and storage (CCS) infrastructure. It will allow Ineos to directly send carbon captured from methane reforming to be stored under the North Sea.
