Infinity Lithium, thyssenkrupp to assess green H2 use in lithium conversion
Australia-listed Infinity Lithium will collaborate with Germany’s thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions Business Unit Mining (tk BU Mining) to evaluate the use of green hydrogen in lithium chemical conversion.
Under a memorandum of understanding announced on 6 December, the companies will test through a pilot project whether green hydrogen can successfully power a rotary kiln, required under the sulphate roast stage, and potentially eliminate CO2 emissions. tk …
