ioneer signs offtake agreement from Nevada lithium-boron mine with PPES
Australia-based ioneer Ltd says it has signed a lithium offtake agreement with Prime Planet Energy & Solutions, a joint venture battery company between Toyota Motor Corp and Panasonic Corp, Kallanish reports.
The five-year binding agreement calls for ioneer to provide 4,000 tonnes/year of lithium carbonate from the planned Rhyolite Ridge lithium-boron mine in Nevada to support electrification of the US auto market. The deal covers about 19% of the mine’s…
