Italgas to focus on hydrogen in new investment plan
Italian gas company Italgas is to invest €8.6 billion ($9.06 billion) over the next six years with a focus on the ecological transition and decarbonization through green hydrogen.
The recently released 2022-2028 strategic plan includes €4.5 billion to upgrade and extend the Italian gas distribution network building an infrastructure for transport and distribution of renewable gases such as biomethane and hydrogen, Kallanish notes.
