Italian zero-emission car sales rise 31% in June
Italian battery electric vehicle (BEVs) sales increased 31.5% year-on-year in June to 6,152 units, while plug-in hybrids (PHEV) new registrations rose 10.8% to 7,406 units, Kallanish reports.
According to data from local automaker association Anfia, market penetration for both powertrains decreased slightly from 10.2% in June 2022 to 9.8% last month.
