Jiangsu Azure secures land for Malaysian battery gigafactory
Shenzhen-listed Jiangsu Azure says its wholly-owned Malaysian subsidiary has reached a deal with Bonus Essential Sdn Bhd for the purchase of land in Selangor Province, Malaysia.
According to the company, the subsidiary is purchasing 48 acres (32,000 square metres) of industrial real estate at a price of MYR 135.91 million ($29.56m). The land secured will host the company’s Malaysian lithium battery gigafactory, Kallanish understands.
