Australian miner Legend Mining has announced the maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Mawson deposit within the Rockford project, Fraser Range, Western Australia, Kallanish reports.
The deposit contained 28,200 tonnes of contained metal, included 16,500 t of nickel 10,600 t of copper, and 1,100 t of cobalt.
The indicated and inferred MRE reads 1.45 million t at 1.14% nickel, 0.74% copper and 0.7% cobalt.
