LG Chem inks renewables power deal for Chinese battery facility
South Korea’s LG Chem has agreed a deal to acquire renewable energy to power its battery cathode material plant in China, Kallanish reports.
Under the terms of the undisclosed power purchase agreement (PPA), LG Chem will acquire 140 gigawatt hours per year from Chinese renewable energy provider Yunfengxin Energy.
