Lhyfe opens new green hydrogen plant in France
French green hydrogen producer Lhyfe and regional energy and climate agency AREC Occitanie have inaugurated a large-scale renewable hydrogen production plant in the Occitanie region, in France.
The plant, owned 80% by Lhyfe and 20% by AREC Occitanie, will start commercial operations in the first half of 2024. Located at the Triangle business park in Bessières, the 5-megawatt unit is expected to produce up to 2,000 tonnes/day of green hydrogen.
