Li-Cycle, Helbiz to recycle lithium-ion batteries from scooters, e-bikes
Li-Cycle Corp is partnering with Helbiz to recycle lithium-ion batteries used in e-scooters and e-bikes in the US and abroad, Kallanish reports.
Helbiz, based in New York City, is a prominent player in the micro-mobility industry. Li-Cycle, with headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, plans to recycle end-of-life batteries from Helbiz fleets in major cities and return the battery materials back into the supply chain.
