LITHIUM: Cypress Development buying water rights in Clayton Valley
Canada-based Cypress Development says it has signed a letter of intent to purchase water rights in Nevada for its Clayton Valley lithium project, Kallanish reports.
The water is being acquired from Intor Resources Corp, a subsidiary of Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp. That company had acquired the water rights in 2016 and fought in court to keep them. The permit allows for 1,770 acre-feet/year of water for mining, milling and domestic use.
