LITHIUM: Lithium Americas investing in Arena Minerals, Argentina project
Canada-based Lithium Americas says it is investing CAD 6 million ($4.8m) in Arena Minerals, which is involved in lithium brine exploration in Argentina, Kallanish reports.
Lithium Americas will acquire 42.85m subscription receipts in a private placement at CAD 0.14 per subscription receipt. That will give Lithium Americas as much as a 12.9% stake (14.6% on a fully diluted basis) in the shares of Arena Minerals.
