LITHIUM, NICKEL, COBALT: Ultium, Li-Cycle sign recycling agreement
Ultium Cells and Li-Cycle have inked a new agreement to recycle up to 100% of the scrap from Ultium’s battery manufacturing operations, Kallanish learns.
Ultium - a jv between General Motors and LG Energy Solution - will be able to recover 95% of the scrap cobalt, nickel, lithium, graphite, copper, manganese, and aluminium to re-process into new battery cells, the companies say.
