LITHIUM: Umicore inks supply deals with Ganfeng, Vulcan Energy
Belgium-based materials technology company Umicore has inked two lithium agreements to secure additional supply of a key raw material for its cathode materials production.
The company said on 15 October the “long-term” agreements with Ganfeng Lithium and Vulcan Energy Resources will run for an initial 5-year term, with an option to extend thereafter.
