Livent acquires minority stake in ILiAD for DLE technology
US lithium chemical company Livent has acquired a minority stake in ILiAD Technologies’ parent company, a subsidiary of EnergySource Minerals.
As part of its investment into ILiAD Technologies, Livent will also gain the right to license ILiAD’s direct lithium extraction (DLE) technology. Livent said in a statement Thursday it intends to deploy the technology at its Project Fenix lithium brine resource in Argentina.
