Lopal’s Liyuan secures LFP cathode supply deal with LGES
Shanghai-listed manufacturer Jiangsu Lopal Tech announced late on 21 February that its subsidiary Changzhou Liyuan New Energy Technology signed a long-term lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material supply deal with LG Energy Solution.
According to the agreement, during 2024-2028, Changzhou Liyuan will provide and sell 160,000 tonnes of LFP cathode materials to the South Korean battery giant manufacturer, Kallanish notes.
