MANGANESE: Element25 renews focus on EV demand
Australia’s Element 25 said Thursday it’s renewing focus on battery grade manganese as its concentrate production moves to a steady rate, Kallanish reports.
The company has successfully leached run-of-mine concentrate product from the Stage 1 beneficiation plant of its Butcherbird project to produce a manganese sulphate solution. This is the first step in producing battery grade high purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) for EV batteries.
