Masdar plans 1-GW renewable, battery storage project in Jordan
Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) announced Tuesday plans to build a 1-gigawatt wind and battery energy storage project in Jordan, as part of its latest COP28 agreements.
Dubbed the UAE’s “clean energy powerhouse,” the company says it is committed to accelerating the green energy transition “to address global sustainability challenges.”
