Mexico forms new state-run company to control lithium
Mexico has created a state-run company to control lithium, Kallanish has learned.
The announcement of forming Litio para Mexico or Lithium for Mexico came in a decree issued in the national gazette by President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, Reuters says in a report. The new company with exclusive rights to the battery metal in Mexico is expected to begin operations within six months.
