Nanotech Energy to begin cell production at Chico 2
Florida-based Nanotech Energy will put its so-called Chico 2 manufacturing facility into full production in early 2024, in California, Kallanish reports.
The facility, located in Chico, will produce graphene-based battery cells designed for non-flammable lithium-ion batteries. Nanotech produces its own graphene through a graphite extraction process, allowing it to be vertically integrated.
