NICKEL: ALX, Rio Tinto begin Firebird drilling in Saskatchewan
Canada-based ALX Resources announces the commencement of diamond drilling at its Firebird nickel project in northern Saskatchewan, Kallanish reports.
The drilling near the town of Stony Rapids will total about 1,500 metres with up to eight drill holes targeting EM conductors and is fully funded by ALX’s exploration partner, Rio Tinto Exploration Canada. The drilling is expected to be completed by mid-July with ALX as operator.
