NICKEL, COBALT: Jervois to add leach system at Brazil refinery
Australian-based Jervois Mining Ltd plans to add a pressure oxidation leach circuit at its Sao Miguel Paulista nickel-cobalt refinery in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Kallanish reports.
Adding such a system at the refinery would result in greater advantages compared to roasting concentrates, including opening up greater capacity to leach other hydroxide and carbonate feed products and maximising refinery capacity, the company says.
