Nikola, E.ON to form hydrogen JV in Europe
Nikola Energy and E.ON Hydrogen are creating a joint venture to make hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) cost competitive with diesel trucks in terms of total cost of ownership, Kallanish reports.
The European partnership combines sales of Nikola’s fuel cell trucks with services and hydrogen fuelling infrastructure solutions. The new hydrogen logistics services JV will start operating in early 2023.
