Nikola, IVECO to produce electric heavy-duty trucks in Germany
Italy-based IVECO and US-based Nikola Corp are dedicating a new manufacturing facility in Ulm, Germany, for Nikola’s Tre electric heavy-duty trucks, Kallanish reports.
The plant is expected to begin production by year-end 2021, the companies say in a joint statement. The first models produced at the German plant will be delivered to select customers in the United States in early 2022.
