Nissan to invest in Renault's EV company Ampere
Japanese automaker Nissan plans to invest in Renault's upcoming electric vehicle and software company with the tentative name Ampere, Kallanish learns from a Nissan press release.
Ampere is expected to launch in regions including Latin America, India, and Europe.
At the same time, Renault has decided to cut its stake in Nissan from 43% to 15%. Currently, Nissan holds a 15% stake in Renault.
