Nissan eyes LFP production for emerging markets: report

Japanese automaker Nissan plans to produce lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries and install them on its electric vehicles to be sold in emerging markets as early as 2026, according to Nikkei Asia.  The report states Nissan is currently promoting the development of LFP at its research and development facility in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
