Nornickel increases ore production with upgrades
Russian miner Nornickel will take further steps to ramp up production capacities at its Norilsk Concentrator, part of the company’s subsidiary Medvezhy Ruchey LLC.
Among them is the installation of a new crushing unit that will enable the company to process up to 9.2 million tonnes of iron ore/year, Kallanish notes. Total investments in the project is RUB 550 million ($9m).
