Northvolt resumes 60 GWh gigafactory plan in Germany

Swedish battery maker Northvolt said Friday it will go ahead with plans to build its third gigafactory, Northvolt Drei, after subsidies pledges by the German government. The gigafactory is planned to produce up to 60 gigawatt-hours per year at full capacity, which is enough to supply one million EVs.
