Norway’s EV market share nears 90% in October
Electric vehicle penetration continues to increase in Norway, with new sales of both battery electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) nearing a 90% market share in October.
The Scandinavian nation recorded a 70.1% BEV market share and a 19.2% PHEV share last month, according to data from OFV. New sales of traditional hybrid cars (HEVs) plunged 58.7% in October, in line with the minority 2.6% diesel share and 3.7% petrol share.
